Later in the game, Jack gets a special weapon that grants him the ability to clear away the corruption, so you’ll need to balance things out. Blood Maidens have the power to use the blood of monsters to draw power from it, but drawing too much of it can corrupt and turn them crazy – in this state, they will harm anyone and anything in their path, including allies. It does sound quite ridiculous and over the top, right? At the start of the game you see him locked up in the jail, but it’s no ordinary jail: the whole city is the jail!
